A little drive from Pasadena, but well worth it, Parking is expensive, about $10 dollars, but totally worth it! There is also a japanese super market below the restaurant which you can get some relief if you dine fast enough, but usually doesn't help much, but the market itself is fun to explore.

Torigoya in Little Tokyo is a go-to spot for authentic yakitori, which are Japanese grilled skewers of chicken and vegetables. Here's a quick rundown:

Specialty: Yakitori, with a focus on high-quality ingredients.

Highlights: Free-range, organic chicken cooked over imported charcoal for a smoky and flavorful experience.

Ambiance: Described as basic, letting the food take center stage.
